At Last!
We are pleased to announce that the building work at St Mary’s Hall in Woburn Sands, is due to begin in the week commencing 21st September for a duration of 8-10 weeks. So let’s keep our fingers crossed for Christmas at least!
Second Collection – Home Mission Sunday
This weekend at all Masses in England and Wales, the church celebrates Home Mission Sunday, an opportunity to reflect on our call to share the joy of the Gospel with those around us.
Home Mission Sunday reminds us that mission begins close to home: in our families, workplaces, schools and neighbourhoods, as well as in our churches. It is an invitation to consider how our parishes can welcome people who may be searching for meaning, returning to faith, or encountering the Church for the first time.
As we celebrate together, please pray for the mission of the Church in our communities and to consider how each of us can play a part in making Christ known.

Franciscan Pilgrimage Walk 2026
Congratulations to all the Pilgrims who took part in our Franciscan Pilgrimage last weekend. The weather held for us and the rain did not start untill we were finally inside St Bede’s at the end of the Walk. Over one hundred people joined the pilgrimage for different parts which was great to see. The San Damiano Cross was carried by different people between each of the churches throughout the day. Congregation to all who took part.
