Sharing Our Faith
Each year we gather together a group of adults who would like to discover more about the Catholic Christian Faith. For some this is because they would like to become a Catholic, for others, they may have been baptised as a child but never made their First Communion or were never confirmed. For others they are simply curious about a relative or friend’s Faith.
If this is something that you would like to find out more about, then please have a word with one of the priests or deacons after Mass or contact the parish office. We will begin meeting on Thursday 5th November at 7.30pm at Christ the King Church, Frithwood Crescent, Kents Hill. Please consider coming along.
| Walking with St Francis through Advent This year Fr John Udris will be leading our annual diocesan online Advent retreat on Thursday evenings from 26 November at 7.30pm. |
| The retreat includes four Advent talks exploring different aspects of the life, spirituality and legacy of St Francis of Assisi, as we mark the 800th anniversary of his death. Together, we will discover how the example of St Francis can inspire and guide us on our own journey through Advent. Live on YouTube on Thursday evenings, and at any time afterwards. Mission Team
Are you interested in mission and social action programmes? We want to hear from you!
There are plans to establish a Mission Team in Milton Keynes — a team of passionate parishioners from different parishes across the city who want to respond to Jesus’ call to Mission beyond the Sunday Mass.
Whether your heart is in youth ministry, evangelisation, Catholic social justice, community outreach, supporting the wider mission of the Church, are experienced in mission work or not, there is a place for you! All you need is the desire and passion to make a difference! If you would like to be part of the Mission Team or want to know more, please contact: Marielleeve18@gmail.com The mission starts with us!
November Prayer for those who have died
In all of our Churches during the month of November, our Books of Remembrance will be displayed in front of the altar at all of our Masses.
Eternal rest grant unto them, O Lord,
and let Your perpetual light shine upon them.
May their souls and the souls of all the faithful departed
rest in peace.
Amen
