St Marys Church 100 years old, can you help?
On 18th July 2026 it will be 100 years since the first Catholic Mass was celebrated in Woburn Sands, in the Club Room of the Fir Tree Hotel.
To mark this occasion there is to be a celebration after Mass on Sunday 19th July.
To put this together we need helpers.
What we need:
- Gazebo’s and Volunteers to put up.
- Helpers to set up/pack away chairs/tables.
- Multicultural food – bring and share
- Refreshments
- Games for adults/children
- Music

Stella Maris
Stella Maris, formerly called Apostleship of the Sea, is seeking one volunteer from some of our parishes to help with Sea Sunday, which falls on 11th/12th July this year. This is the day when the Church comes together to pray for seafarers, fishers and their families, and takes a second collection to support the work of Stella Maris. The volunteer will read out the appeal, which Stella Maris will provide, at the Masses on that weekend. If you feel that you can kindly do this, please contact roland.hayes@stellamarismail.org.
Open House
Open House is on Monday 11th May as usual at Christ the King Church, Frithwood Crescent, Kents Hill, MK7 6HQ from 5.30pm to 7pm.
This is an opportunity to deal with any admin tasks such as signing forms for school or passports, arranging Baptisms or to come and speak with one of the Team.
Day for Life Second Collection – Next weekend
